V Pizza, known for producing delicious artisan meals from exceptional Italian sources, opened its first location in Jacksonville, FL, in 2014. Bringing the flavor of old-world Italy to their hometown was always the dream, and this dream has come to life at 12 locations (and counting) in the Southeastern U.S. 

To support its aggressive growth strategy in new markets and the opening of franchise locations, V Pizza needed to modernize and define its brand voice so the business could scale while staying authentic.

APPROACH

Our team worked closely with V Pizza to create a multi-faceted strategy to modernize their brand. This included updating the logo to a simplified, Roman-style design that feels fresh and versatile. We developed a cohesive brand identity that appeals to local and new market audiences and created a comprehensive visual portfolio. 

Connect Agency enhanced V Pizza’s digital presence by updating branding across the website, social media, and online listings. We also designed new collateral, including customer email marketing, business cards, menus, in-store signage, and wayfinding materials. Additionally, we implemented targeted advertising campaigns and public relations efforts to support their regional and national expansion.

For V Pizza, being authentic means staying true to their values and the traditional way of making pizza. We launched an entirely new website and online experience to bring guests into an environment that’s as meaningful and unique as the food they serve – where we use Italian phrases, imagery, and video to make users feel that they’ve walked into an Italian pizzeria in Naples. We had fun with the phrasing to tease up the experience and get them hungry for more.
